Immediate Implant Placement

Under ideal circumstances, we offer immediate implant placement. This means that your dental implant can be placed in the jawbone during the same appointment as your tooth extraction. Patients who are candidates for immediate implant placement include those who have no gum disease and a healthy jawbone. Same-day implants procedures are often completed in under 3 hours, depending on the number of teeth being extracted and the number of implants being placed. After the implant has set and the jawbone has healed, a return appointment will still be necessary to place your permanent crown.
