Myobrace^®

Myobrace is a series of removable intraoral appliances that correct crooked teeth, incorrect jaw development, and other orthodontic problems without the need for braces. Myobrace is designed to address poor myofunctional habits, such as mouth breathing, incorrect tongue placement, and incorrect swallowing, while also working to widen the jaw to create enough room for teeth to come in naturally straight. This aims to eliminate the need for future braces treatment.

Myobrace is ideal for children ages 3-15 and is worn for 1-2 hours each day and overnight while sleeping. Because poor oral habits are prevalent at a young age, ideal treatment often begins before permanent teeth have come in. Waiting to treat crooked teeth with braces once permanent teeth have set can damage teeth, lead to long-term treatment costs, and affect a child’s overall health and development.
